cartoon finished
What is the strongest part (visual area) of your finished art piece? Why?
· What part (visual area) of your art piece can be improved on? How can it be improved on?: the eyes or the shape of the feet and hands could be improved on.
· What Tools did you use to create your work?: pen tool, eyedrop tool, brush tool, burn tool, dodge tool, stroke/fill
· How did you use these tools? Explain.: i used the pen tool to trace the picture, used the burn tool to make the shadows on the face and used the brush tool to make the shadows on the clothes, i used the dodge tool to make the burns brighter and i used the eyedrop tool to get the original colors of the clothes so i could darken it for the shadows
· What was easy about this art activity? Explain.: the easy part was tracing and filling it in because i already had experience with the pen tool and the coloring in was easy because i already knew how to do that.
· What was difficult about this art activity? Explain.: making the shadows was a little difficult because the colors on the shirt made it hard to see the chages in the clothes.
· Describe how you demonstrated each of the objectives (goals) of this art activity?: we had to learn the pen tool and i showed that i knew it by tracing the drawing almost perfectly.
· If you could do this assignment again, what would you do differently?: i would probably draw a neater picture than what i did because it made tracing small parts of it difficult.
· On a scale of 1-10 (10 being the best), how would you rate your effort in this project? Why?: 8 because it wasnt anything extremely difficult but it was difficult at times t when it came to parts of the picture dissapearing during tracing.

polaroid finished
What is the strongest part (visual area) of your finished art piece? Why?: i think its the picture being burned in the wood because its the most interesting thing in the whole picture.
· What part (visual area) of your art piece can be improved on? How can it be improved on?: i could have positioned the polaroids on the right side more closely to get more of my body and less background.
· What Tools did you use to create your work?: i used the direct selection tool, magic wand, text, and effects.
· How did you use these tools? Explain.: i used the magic wand tool to get rid of the white on the polaroid so i could see myself and used the direct selection tool to position the polaroids, i used effects to make the drawing look burned into the desk and used the text to make the word.
· What was easy about this art activity? Explain.: the easy part was getting rid of the whites on the polaroid and positioning them.
· What was difficult about this art activity? Explain.: the difficult part was getting a background that didnt look out of place because my picture was me on a roof.
· Describe how you demonstrated each of the objectives (goals) of this art activity?: we needed to make oursleves into polaroids, include a backround mixed media and a quote and i added all those into the picture.
· If you could do this assignment again, what would you do differently?: i would probably take a different picture or at least zoom in on it so the polaroids fit better.
· On a scale of 1-10 (10 being the best), how would you rate your effort in this project? Why?: 7 because none of it was particularly hard but it did take a while for me to finish especially involving the mixed media part.
